In First Rally for 2022, Trump Pledges To Take Back The White House in 2024
In his first rally for 2022, former President Donald Trump promised to take back the White House. What wasn’t clear was whether he would do that by running himself, or by endorsing another Republican candidate.

It was a possible start to a 2024 campaign. Despite the electric atmosphere, he didn’t announce his plan to run for President again. However, he pledged that once 2024 arrives, “we are going to take back the White House.”
As usual, the charismatic Trump trained his sights at current President, Joe Biden. He called Biden incompetent and criticized the way he handled various issues. This included the handling of the coronavirus pandemic, the economy, foreign policy, and crime.
Great Red Wave To Begin In Arizona
Trump looked ahead to both the 2024 elections as well as this year’s midterms. He predicted that “a great red wave” will start in Arizona.
Specifically, he said that 2022 is the year that the Republican party will take back the House and the Senate. Of course, he dedicated parts of his airtime in discussing his election loss to Biden.
Trump insisted that somebody rigged the 2020 elections in his opponent’s favor. Despite Biden’s proclamation, he declared that “I ran twice and we won twice.”
Arizona was an obvious choice for Trump to kick off his rally series for 2022. The state is a key battleground for the 2022 midterm elections.
In fact, this year features high-stakes contests to win the Governorship, one Senate seat and the entire Arizona slate for the US House of Representatives.
Arizona is also one of a handful of states where Biden narrowly won over Trump. Last year, an audit of votes conducted in Maricopa county showed Trump lost a couple of hundred votes during the counting.
Trump To Take Back The White House Via Two Rallies A Month For Trump
The former president’s next scheduled rally is at Conroe, Texas on Saturday, January 29. In particular, the rally will happen one month before Primary Day in Texas.
Sources say that Trump plans to hold two rallies per month going forward. While many still hold Trump as the primary contender for 2024, some candidates are slowly emerging from the woodwork.
Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is an emerging force that seemed to attract a lot of Republican voters. He garnered national attention by his staunch opposition to the federal government’s oppressive policies such as COVID-19 mandates.
Political analysts think that the two are on a collision course towards a Republican nomination. Last week, Trump fired a salvo apparently aimed at DeSantis.
He called politicians who won’t admit to getting a COVID vaccine “gutless”. DeSantis clapped back by saying he missed the chance to convince Trump to oppose lockdowns in 2020.
He also said that “when COVID was first coming… I was telling Trump ‘stop the flights from China’ because we didn't know what we were dealing with.”
