Average American Citizen Really Hating Stocks?

The average American citizen do not really invest on stock market.
On Friday, Fundstrat’s Tom Lee was able to lay it out how an average citizen hates the stock market.
According to Lee, “Households have not been buying equities generally since 2007.”
In this article, Tom Lee is showing an evidence based on the chart. As being shown, there has been a substantial liquidation of equity most especially on direct ownership of stocks.
As part of the results may be that Americans have been burned by two serious drawdowns since 2000.
Tom Lee clearly shows that since 2007, households have been a net seller of stocks. Together with this, there have been a shrinking of the amount of their financial assets in stocks by 18.6% since then.
