Employees File Lawsuit vs Elon Musk’s Twitter Over Unpaid Bonuses
Employees of Elon Musk's Twitter have allegedly filed a lawsuit alleging that the firm failed to pay tens of millions of dollars in promised incentives. The workers join a lengthy number of organizations and individuals suing Facebook, ranging from former executives to landlords.
According to the Associated Press, the social media company is embroiled in yet another lawsuit, this time filed by workers. According to the lawsuit, the corporation allegedly breached its obligation to pay incentives totaling tens of millions of dollars.
The complaint was filed in San Francisco federal court. It claims that in the months leading up to billionaire Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter, high-ranking officials regularly guaranteed employees that they would earn half of their yearly bonuses for 2022.
Mark Schobinger, who was most recently Twitter's senior director of compensation, is directing this legal struggle. Employees' lawyers are allegedly pressing for class action status for the complaint, which would allow it to encompass both current and past Twitter employees.
