Biden’s Tweet About US Auto Manufacturing Ignores Tesla, Elon Musk
Tesla CEO Elon Musk took exception over comments made by President Joe Biden on US auto manufacturing. Biden apparently snubbed Tesla in his tweet about the future “was going to be made right here in America” as he only mentioned GM and Ford.

Biden Snubbed Tesla When He Tweeted About US Auto Manufacturing
The tweet included a video of Biden meeting with General Motors CEO Mary Barra. He added that “companies like GM and Ford are building more electric vehicles here at home than ever before.”
Musk responded with a sarcastic remark to remind Biden of his company, who leads everybody else in electric vehicle production. “Starts with a T. Ends with an A. ESL in the middle,” he shot back.
In addition, another private user responded to Biden’s inability to recall the EV maker. “Honestly, how does he say this with a straight face?
Shame on you President Biden for trying to cancel a great American company and rewrite EV history. No one is buying this. What an embarrassment for the United States.
@elonmusk #Tesla”. Consequently, Musk responded to the tweet by posting his thoughts on the President. “Biden is treating the American public like fools,” he tweeted.
Not The First Time Biden Ignored Musk’s Companies
However, Musk has repeatedly mocked Biden online. This usually happens after Biden ignores or deliberately excludes his company from events where they hold a substantial market share.
Musk recently accused Biden of being a puppet of the United Auto Workers union. He said that this is the only reason why Biden didn’t invite Tesla to an EV Summit at the White House last year.
In addition, Musk also responded to a Twitter user’s question on why Biden never acknowledged efforts by SpaceX.
The aerospace company successfully completed the Inspiration 4 mission, which featured the world's first all-civilian flight crew. It also raised hundreds of millions of dollars for charity. Musk replied, “He’s still sleeping.”
Aside From US Auto Manufacturing, Musik Also Called Out The Build Back Better Agenda
Aside from calling out US auto manufacturing snubs, Musk also took shots at the President’s flagship program, the Build Back Better agenda.
In particular, he warned that passing the massive multi-trillion-dollar bill will only add to the insane federal deficit. “Honestly, I would just can this whole bill,” Musk reacted. He added: “Don’t pass it, that’s my recommendation.”
The following day, Musk shared an analysis from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School about the BBB. The report explained that the US national debt will grow by 24% if the bill’s measures become permanent.
“There is a lot of accounting trickery in this bill that isn’t being disclosed to the public,” Musk noted. “Nothing is more permanent than a ‘temporary’ government program,” he concluded.
