Speaking on the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party, President Xi Jinping warned other countries to stay out of the way. The Chinese communist regime continues to move aggressively in expanding its global influence.
At the same time, it issued veiled threats to countries thinking of opposing it. This includes the United States, which in turn wants other countries to push back as well.

Xi Jinping Warns Of Broken Heads And Bloodshed
In an address delivered earlier, Xi said that “The Chinese people will absolutely not allow any foreign force to bully, oppress or enslave us and anyone who attempts to do so will face broken heads and bloodshed in front of the iron Great Wall of the 1.4 billion Chinese people.”
As President of China since 2013, Xi oversaw a powerful regime that’s been busy cracking down on local dissenters and groups it deems undesirable. At the same time, China is pushing its influence abroad, projecting itself as a capable superpower in its own right.
China’s Human Rights Record
However, many countries still find China difficult to deal with. Many accounts of systematic human rights abuses, including forced sterilizations and forced labor in re-education camps, continue to make rounds in the media.
A particular minority targeted in China is the Uighur Muslims in the Xinjiang province. Many human rights groups and concerned organizations are pressuring the US and its allies to sanction the communist country. In return, China warns groups to refrain from taking sides.
The recently-held Group of Seven meeting in the UK last month led to yet another indictment of China’s disregard for minorities.
“The United States and our G7 partners remain deeply concerned by the use of all forms of forced labor in global supply chains, including state-sponsored forced labor of vulnerable groups and minorities and supply chains of the agricultural, solar, and garment sectors — the main supply chains of concern in Xinjiang,” a G-7 statement said last month.
Hong Kong
In addition, Hong Kong remains under strict control by authorities ever since Beijing cracked down on the island colony. China disregarded the ‘One Country, Two Systems’ agreement it gave to HK and the UK after more than two decades in effect.
Last year, China went on a crackdown against HK dissent, passing the dreaded national security law. Should other countries feel the need to support the HK demonstrators, Xi Jinping and other officials warn them to not meddle.
China essentially abandoned what was left of the “one country, two systems” 1997 agreement for Hong Kong last year when it passed a national security law and immediately began snuffing out the territory’s already limited freedoms and pro-democracy movement.
Public activities and rallies are already banned. However, Xi insists that both China and Hong Kong remain active in upholding the “one country, two systems” framework.
Taiwan and Southeast Asia
In addition, China remains determined to reclaim its “renegade province” of Taiwan. For many years now, China has engaged in a lot of saber-rattling. The country also actively calls out those who call Taiwan a ‘country’ separate from China.
Meanwhile, the Chinese presence in disputed islands in Southeast Asia is also ruffling feathers. Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, and the Philippines all claim exclusivity in this part of the world. However, China, basing its claim on a local map it made, says they alone have a legitimate claim.
